Career choices
One of the main choices your teenager will have to make is either continuing in full-time education, going on to higher education (such as universities) or leaving for a job/training. There are many factors which will influence their decision including - their attitude to study, the job or career they have in mind, financial considerations and the state of the job market.


Example of a careers programme in a college or sixth form

 bullet pointdevelopment of employability skills through work experience, part-time employment, volunteering and learning practical workplace skills.
