The Teenage Years

13 – 19, Connexions Somerset, Other sources of advice and information

13 - 19
The teenage years are about development and preparation for adulthood. For some these years pass by without incident, but for others it can be a testing time for all concerned. As a parent, guardian or carer you naturally want the best for your teenager. Knowing how to support them and where to go for advice and information is crucial to providing this support.

Connexions Somerset
Connexions provides confidential information, advice, guidance and support to young people. Connexions offers careers advice and support with anything that is stopping your teenager with getting on with life for example health, sexual drug and alcohol issues or a disability. Connexions offers someone to talk to, someone to listen and share your concerns but most of all it is a gateway to securing expert advice and support for your teenager.
